Karen Bollert: Karen Bollert works in leather and multimedia art. She suspects that she may have inherited some of her talent from her paternal grandmother. When she remembered the inner peace and pleasure of painting from her childhood, she enrolled at White Mountain Academy of the Arts, graduating with a Visual Arts Diploma May 2004.

Susan Carmichael: Susan Carmichael and her husband retired and moved to Elliot Lake 4 years ago. Susan now spends most of her time by  the lakes, painting , while her husband fishes. It's heaven!

Jeffrey Chi: Jeffrey Chi is a photographer from Elliot Lake. He specializes in large wide-angle panoramic photos of scenery and landscapes throughout Canada.  His work truly encompasses the beauty that surrounds us.

Julia Chlminitzky: The inspiration for many of Julia Chlminitzky's paintings comes from the beauty of the forests surrounding Elliot Lake. Julia's favorite topic is the birch tree, that comes alive with a palate knife

Sheila M. Currie: As an integral part of Elliot Lake's Arts on the Trail, I look forward to welcoming you to my selection of of watercolours and mixed media works that reflect my inward response to the outside world.

Gabi Doleske: Hand-dyed silk scarves, camisoles, and bandanas. Workshops available by appointment to dye your own belly dancing veil.

Jack Dunning throws and hand builds functional and decorative stoneware pottery in his studio along the Echo River, playing with different shapes and combinations of glazes.

Garry Enosse is a self-taught artist from Manitoulin Island. After a mining accident, he began working with wook, birchbark, red willow, sinew and fire.  "Miigwetch" Thank you" to the creator

Denis Gauthier works only with hand-picked wood, carefully harvested because it has been shaped by disease, storms, or long life. He allows each piece to rest until the precise moment at which it can unlock its hidden secret, an art he has learned through experience with wood during all its phases.

Linda Helin is a very versatile artist/artisan and enjoys working with many types of media including drawing, painting, sculpting, wook, birch bark, rawhide, metal, photography, logos, quills, beads, tanned hide, material, conceptual work and anatomical sketches.

Paul Kazulak loves our scenic beauty and varied wildlife. People and their expressions are priceless. Action sports thrill him.  A study of light, a moment in time, captured through the lens!

Susan Krupp is an artist living and working in Elliot Lake. For the past few years she has developed what she affectionately likes to call "phollage". It's a combination of photography, painting and digital manipulation that she has explored and developed using tools of the computer. The possibilities for creativity are virtually endless and she's intrigued that the learning curve continues to take one on this fantastic journey. She specializes in portraiture (both people and pets!) and has had success in this as well as in the more mainstream graphic end of design.

Bill Lacroix: Dusk and dawn are times when magic can be found. From macro to telephoto Bill Lacroix's search and goal as a photographer is to present images retained as a consequence of his experience.

Lisa Macdonal Waite: Handcrafted animals made from grandma's old fur coat. One-of-a-kind recycled leather purses, mitts, moccasins and "fur feet".  New this year - fur blanket and pillows

Russ Mason finds great pleasure manipulating the colours that reflect nature to adorn the human body in a functional and fashionable manner. Colour is never singular or static. The movement created by multi colours enhances design.

Zoe McDougall: Stained glass has been Zoe McDougall's passion for over 25 years. Her original 2-D and 3-D designs include driftwood, old window sashes, clamshells, crayfish, rocks and old garbage dump treasures.

Reg McQuillan is a retired steelworker that loves the outdoors, nature, animals etc.  Reg started painting a few years back and finds it very enjoyable and relaxing.

Marilyn Mills is a self-taught artist and her work in watercolours is intended to bring a feeling of, appreciation and nostalgia of the scenery and landscape of various areas

Hugh Morrow: A self taught artist who worked in oils and acrylics before discovering that the medium of watercolour, coupled with the "white" of the paper was ideal for recreating the weathered and rustic textures found in some of his favorite subject matter which includes old structures, marine scene and people. His work is in many private collections in both Canada and the USA.

Pauline Nolet constructs chainmaille that is armour or jewellery made by connecting individual metal rings together in different patterns.  Jewellery was made by cultures as diverse as the Vikings and the Egyptians.

Al Parker was interested in art work and started doing leather work in the early 1970's.  Al preferred this medium because he could make items people could use.  This gives him more satisfaction than just painting or sketching

Kathleen Parr: An obsession with fabric from shortly after birth led Kathleen Parr to create Wilde Strawberries Studio. Here one-of-a-kind hand-quilted quilts, dolls, and clothing are created. Where many quilters live by the credo " She who dies with the most fabric wins", Kathleen is challenged to create something with every last scrap!

Lise Portelance weaves beautiful and colourful French Canadian traditional blankets called "catalognes".  On her antique loom she also uses modern fibres in order to create blankets of differents sizes and weights. All of Lise's creations are machine washable and dryable.

Beverley Robinson: Heartstrings Designs is handmade jewellery by Beverley Robinson. Necklaces, earrings and bracelets created from a variety of materials. Jewellry features semiprecious stones, Swarovski crystals and pearls

Christine Adele Scott: Cotton, board, glass, clay, wood, metal...my canvases/ Pure joy.  When I start taking myself too seriously and it is no longer a joy...I'll stop

Cécile Sénéchal is always experimenting with colours and materials. She does oil, watercolours and paint on feathers.  Cécile Sénéchal expérimente avec les coleurs et les materiaux.  Ell paint avec l'huile, l'aquarelle et peint sur des plumes.

Lorne Shunk worked many years manufacturing truck cranes and used information from blueprint assemblies to build articulation wood models of the cranes.  Lorne moved to Elliot Lake in February 2006 and joined the Glenden Seniors Hobby Shop. One of the members got him interested in lathe work, turning candlesticks, bud vases and later, bowls.  Lorne attempted to carve a bowl from a yellow birch burl and was soon committed to bigger, more impressive projects.

Lidia Silverstrova: Moving to Canada 3 years ago, Lidia Silvestrova hand paints wooden eggs and matroshka dolls in traditional russian style, as well as nature scenes, Christmas and Easter themes.

Karen Singleton has formed an amazing connection with the variety of granite she collects on the shores of Lake Superior. She cuts, then handpaints each piece into a unique treasure.

Rose Sunduram loves the vibrance of pastel and the subtleness of charcoal to capture images of Algoma; portraits and still lifes. She also works in watercolor. She welcomes comission pieces.

Zoey Wood-Solomon paints in the traditional style of her Odawa heritage. She is self taught.  Her poetry is an important part of her art. She paints on paper, canvas and birch bark.
